Have you taken him to let him pick any out a pattern and a material he likes? maybe he might like loose boxers instead of tight underwear. I know my son prefers loose underwear that are thin in… read more

I'm looking for the best southern state with the best resources. We're trying not to move back to Ohio, but we're not receiving much help where we're at.
Not southern but I saw one individual say they were considering moving north. I can say that having my child involved with MMCC (Margaret Murphys Center for Children) has been awesome in Maine. We… read more
We took Landon to the dentist yesterday because I noticed some dark spots on a couple of his bottom teeth. He has only been to the dentist once before when he was 2 and then they just took a quick peek and said everything looked fine. He still doesn't talk so there is no making him understand whats going on and he fights and kicks when we try to give him a haircut much less to let a dentist look in his mouth. Hi Kavitha
Have you tried filing an appeal with BCBS to cover ABA? Sometimes filing an appeal will help to get coverage for ABA. You may want to try contacting the Indiana Autism Alliance. They may… read more
His school provides bare minimum with therapy. Our kids (only) were once on Medicaid and it seemed to provide pretty decent therapy throughout the week, however, with a pay bump at my job, and my wife now going back to work, we are just over the threshold for Medicaid. Private therapy is something that I know is worth it but again cannot simply afford it. Meanwhile our son has gone on 25min tangents in his classroom to the point where the teachers are growing intolerant. What are options for us… read more
