Just back from the neurologist.. My sons laughing may be a sign of seizure, gelastic seizure, anyone ASD kids have this diagnosis? How do you help them before we are fully diagnosed? Any info on it would be great, thank you

My son had not hit me during his aggression since right before and right after his diagnosis in October and November 2015
Then Friday night out of nowhere really can't pin point a trigger he was aggressive punch fridge then pillows and I see this look and he kept stepping towards me and then "boom now it's me"!

I noticed my daughter been more aggressive lately when she has a meltdown she will hit throw things be mean to whoever in sight. If you tell her no she gets mad n has a meltdown doesnt want to share. I really dnt want to medicate her just yet is there anything i could try to make her understand how to control her anger shes 7 soon to be 8 next month

My son is 4, almost 5. I've known there was something going on with him since he turned 2. We've had one evaluation, started OT for SPD and are waiting on another evaluation at Shands UF in Gainesville. Here's my problem. The paperwork says the evaluation should only take an hour. My Son is almost 3. We are working on his speech and comprehension. Does anyone have any good tips on helping Nolan comprehend and retain what we are explaining to him. He will repeat what I say, but then when I ask it back to him he doesn't really know what I am saying. We do flash cards. I will have him point to the card and say the word, but then when I ask him what the thing on the flash card is, he doesn't know. Any tips would be great. Thanks!

Looking for tips advice information on sfloriday, & your general opinion on how it is living with a child with Autism in Florida. Was it difficult to get services? Our pediatrician told us to keep using the non fluoride toothpaste until he spits. He sucks the toothpaste off and eats it. He will brush but will not spit. Also his breath is horrible. I don’t know what to do.
