We have been doing ABA at home now for almost a year & I sometimes wonder is it helping or is it not ?? It is so expensive & we have been thru 3 different people , not by our choice they left the company & And now my 4yr old knows that he has work , stuff to do when the ABA person comes over & he tells her No & to go home ..His Aggression has seem to getting worse:( Any advice or opinions would be greatful

Lady who gave me report was on her last week. Spent a month online, overwhelmed myself w/treatment options. Called insurance, they can’t tell me anything w/o specific treatment (report lists areas of focus, no type). Called diagnosis place few wks ago, was told they’d see about diff clinician looking over report & advising me. Still waiting. Pediatrician gave me list of 3 centers to try. One closed last year due to funding. One is too far for continual treatment. 3rd is place I’m already dealing… read more
ABA therapy does teach social skills. My son did ABA therapy from age 6 1/2 to age 8. He was a huge help! Highly recommend it.

We live in middle Tennessee, south of Nashville. Our daughter is 4 years old, diagnosed with autism 2 years ago. She's been attending a great preschool and has fabulous therapists. We have been blessed, she has worked very hard and is doing very well. With that being said we have been looking for a private education for her. We have toured schools, made many phone calls, totaling almost 14 different places

i have a 12 year old with ASD and we want to move closer to our family for more support.
We are looking for Texas or New jersey/Massachusetts area .
WE are desperate and want to go all in with therapies and alternative therapies for kids with ASD.
plus we are also looking at transition services once he turns 21.

The state of Florida requires all fully-insured plans to cover ABA. Companies that self-fund their employee insurance plans are not required to follow state regulations, only federal.
We live in Texas and we would like to know what services are available for our 6yr old son who has Autism at another state?We don't have private insurance,Our son receives ABA therapies covered by Medicaid but just for 2 years,we still have 5 months left and we are considering moving any other state(Illinois,Ohio,Florida,Maryland,Pennsylvania).i would like to know what states or school districts cover ABA services?lAny advice is welcome.
