Is not interested in trying new things. Looks at is like we are crazy if we try offering him something different. But he watches used eating so intently.
Recently started making new facial expressions while watching us. Sometimes they are hilarious lol
Thank you for answering my question. He just had his 3yr physical and his Doc isn't concerned. He too loves milk. I just wish he would venture out with his little taste buds

Just about every time Krystan is asked to do something she starts screaming and being disrespectful to adults. She is constantly being told to lower her voice because she tries to over talk others. She talks back to adults and even tells them to shut up because she was trying to tell them something. It's so embarrassing and she was not raised that way. I've tried to punish her but it makes the situation worse. I try to explain that she has ASD but I feel like I'm constantly making excuses for… read more
It's possibably not bad behaviour. To try and explain, imagine you are going to play a board game with friends, before playing you read the rules then begin to play. Now think of how you would feel… read more
There seems to be a correlation between low vitamin B levels and ASD. Doctors aren’t sure why that is or if it’s a question of a genetic component or they are not processing or retaining it properly. There are several B vitamins such as B12, B6, biotin, folate, etc. Has anyone had their child’s physician test them for this or mentioned it as being associated with ASD? TIA!
I'm autistic and I'm deficient in vitamins u never even heard of
Hi dear people
Does anyone has experience with their own child who has activities such are: bringing some things with him when leaves the house (toy or else what is new and interesting for him). When I ask to leave home the new toy when we go out side, he become very upset. Always insist to bring something with him. I can not figure it out it is good or bad. Should I pursue to leave toys home, or it is OK to bring with him? It seems to me that he is more confident in some kind... I don`t… read more

We are SO LIMITED on what healthy foods Dylan can / will eat as we deal with the autism related food texture issues as well as the exacerbating complications that come with a severe peanut and egg allergy with sensitivity to dairy (causing an eczema like reaction). Any suggestions for tasty, healthy foods and recipes are most appreciated! We use an egg replacement product, dairy free brands like Daiya cheese, Silk dairy free milk products, and "Sun Butter" instead of peanut butter. Canned… read more

Does anyone recommend a certain multivitamin? I see a bunch of different vitamins that contains extra omega 3's, iron, etc. My daughter is a picky eater so i know she doesn't get all the nutrients she needs. She will only eat gummy vitamins. We have tried the flinstones kind but they seem a little bit too hard to chew. I will talk with her MD and see what he thinks but i thought i'd try here as well...thanks!
Thank you for the responses! I think i may give the Omega3 supplement a try. If she lets me give it to her.
My son will be three in a few weeks. He has been grinding his teeth (during the day)for months. He only does it when he is over stimulated or excited, although I have noticed he does it randomly at ot
We use this brand of B-vitamins and order online. Just take once a day and easy to mix with juice.

We gave our son a Children's vitamin with magnesium. This greatly reduced his biting and pulling hair, but it seemed to cause flapping and making noises.(rarely ever flapped without this) This happened on 2 separate occasions of using this vitamin so it appears to be the vitamin. He still has some aggressive behavior in certain situations, but seems to be able to stop himself.
I would try a different multi. Kirkman or klaire labs brands are great. There is also multi ANRC that was used in double blind study that showed efficacy in ASD which can be purchased.
