So, my Sweet Lily has been running through the house naked, every day, for the past two years. Just today, she decided to venture out into the garden, stark naked. Anyone else have a problem with their ASD littles stripping their clothes off at/in inappropriate places? Does it ever stop? Will I ever see the day when my child can successfully wear a complete outfit for longer than a trip to the local dollar shop?
My 30 yr old bro ALYAS naked in the home. ❤️😂
So I'm learning a lot by just reading these questions, etc. Can anyone tell me about SPARK and should I register my son for this research? TIA!
We did it too
Does anyone else have a problem with their child licking any and everything? My daughter cannot seem to stop. It's as if she's compelled to do it. I'm at my wit's end. One of these days she's going to lick the wrong person/shopping trolley/toy and she's going to get seriously ill. Does anyone have any solutions for this issue?
I am pretty certain it's from Sensory Integration Disorder. There are a lot of websites where you can buy stuff for all sensory issues from soft clothing to weighted blankets. I also use Amazon.
My 7 yo son started crying constantly throughout the day and hitting his face in rage . This is a new behavior he is not aggressive .He will be fine one minute and out of nowhere he will begin screaming and hitting himself . He is on summer break so I don’t know if he might be doing it because of the change of… read more

HELLO, I HOPE EVERYONE IS DOING WELL. My son is 8, mostly non-verbal, hates doctors and fights them off, they know he's Autistic at the lab, he's supposed to get his blood drawn every three-6 months to test liver and kidney levels since he takes Depakote, but they are never able to get blood from him, even with Ativan given to him an hour before, he won't even let them put a blood pressure cuff on him! Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.
I definitely would look for a children's hospital too. At least at the current place they are familiar with him and he knows the place. If you're able to, maybe offer for him to pick something out at… read more
