I am very curious about the neuronet program. It is supposed to teach automaticity in motor tasks and improve not only motor skills like handwriting but also processing...any thoughts?
I would love to hear any opinions from parents whose children have attended or are currently attending Clark County School District's autism preschool program. I am currently in the process of enrolling my son and do not know anyone who has utilized this service. Do you love/dislike a certain school or teachers? Any great or terrible experiences to share? My 6 year old aspie son finished school Friday and his stuttering has greatly increased since. We have been preparing him for summer for a couple of months now with a calendar etc. so it's not that he didn't know what was happening. Has anyone had this problem with their aspie kids?

My grandson is loosing his first tooth, the replacement tooth is already thru gum showing half of new tooth, how can we get him to loosen tooth without taking him to the dentist?

Anyone have experience with their preschooler riding the bus? I took my son to school this year but thinking about it for the fall in the mornings and then I'd pick him up. Early mornings are so tough with having a younger two year old getting out the door so early in the morning. This year I just wasn't ready to have my then three-year-old sending off on the bus, but I think I'm ready now...but still a little nervous about sending my baby off on the bus. My ASD daughter is 5-1/2 and still doesn't seem to understand to use the toilet everytime. She is still using pull-ups and comes home from mainsteam school soaking wet because the instructors "didn't have time" to check her. Any ideas to get the school to follow through with IEP and Doctor requests?

My 6 yr old son will walk the grocery store just fine. He always is able to pick an item he wants for himself. Stands n waits in long lines fine. But once we have to put our items on the belt he flips out. He drops instantly to the ground, yells n screams, throws things and bites. I don't care about the stares anymore.
