Riding The School Bus To Preschool
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

Anyone have experience with their preschooler riding the bus? I took my son to school this year but thinking about it for the fall in the mornings and then I'd pick him up. Early mornings are so tough with having a younger two year old getting out the door so early in the morning. This year I just wasn't ready to have my then three-year-old sending off on the bus, but I think I'm ready now...but still a little nervous about sending my baby off on the bus. Any advice or words of wisdom? Thanks a… read more

Potty Problems?
A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

My ASD daughter is 5-1/2 and still doesn't seem to understand to use the toilet everytime. She is still using pull-ups and comes home from mainsteam school soaking wet because the instructors "didn't have time" to check her. Any ideas to get the school to follow through with IEP and Doctor requests?

A MyAutismTeam Member asked a question 💭

Those people have no clue. I have tried to tell him about the process before it happens and try to sooth him thru his meltdown. But he is so locked into his tantrum I don't think… read more
