We are right now in Okinawa Japan with USMc and will be goin to mcrd SD. Issue one they don't have housing available and idk the area at all to find an apartment, and issue two we might end up living in a hotel for over a month. In NJ And Thinking Out Of The Box For Housing Options For My 22 Year Old Daughter Who Is PDD/NOS.

SSI will not cover the cost of an apartment and expenses. I know HUD has some programs out there, but I understand there is a minimum income involved and our young adults do not make the cut based on their SSI only.
Am hoping some other paretns are out there and would like to explore options for their young adult women. Am thinking a two bedroom apartment with supports in place to help them. Anyone with any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated!
